On the last post we talked about the Splendide Field and it's inhabitants, right? Now we're gonna look into the Manuk Fields and try to survive there. This part of the New World is a bit more dangerous than the other side so... err... good luck!? @_@
(More after the break->)
You can get to the first Manuk field on the right side of the Midgard camp, just talk to the guard npc there and he'll transport you here. Once you enter the field, you'll see a monsters that look familiar, and some look new altogether.
- Nepenthes -
This guy reminds you of the monster, Mandragora, doesn't he? But I won't ignore this monster if I were you. He has 10,350 HP and deals 415~565 raw damage. Though his damage isn't really that strong, he has high aspd and range to compensate. If you can survive at Splendide, this guy will probably be easy to kill.
His rare drops are the Stem of Nepenthes(Whip), Harp of Nepenthes, Bow of Nepenthes, and....
The Mandragora Cap! It really looks cool and it gives VIT +3 and auto casts Scream lvl 5 by chance when being attacked. It also has a slot so you can place a card of choice and it really looks cool! @_@
- Hillslion -
Don't be fooled by his looks, he may look like a small and cute animal but he can kill you if you aren't prepared. He has 34,600 HP and deals 5000~5500 raw damage, partnered with his fast aspd and his skill Critical Wounds which reduces healing effectivity, he isn't so cute afterall, no?
Using the Orc Warrior shield will reduce his damage, he doesn't use any one hit skills so any of the two armors are okay. I suggest killing him quick before he gets a chance to use Critical Wounds.
Hillslion is of the Brute race, is Earth element, and is Small sized. His rare drops are Horn of Hillslion(Claw), Wild Beast Claw(Katar), and the Sprint Shoes. The Sprint Shoes are probably the most valuable of his drops, it is one the equipment needed to complete the Sprint Set.
- Centipede Larva -
This guy is similiar to the monster Agriope, but even at larva state he is a bit stronger than the said monster. Centipede Larva has 12,000 HP and deals 948~1145 raw damage, though he isn't strong in terms of attack power, he makes up for annoying using Poison Element Attack and Venom Dust.
Use the Bigfoot shield to reduce his damage and the Argriope/Evil Druid armor for the Poison Element Attack to miss.
He has no rare drops, but he does drop Boots [1] as a similiarity to his cousin the Argriope.
Once you get to the second Manuk Field, things get really dangerous. You'll still see the Hillslion here, and now he has company, a much more stronger company. . .
I strongly advice you to have assumptio on all times if wearing the Raydric Garment only since damage here will surely hurt. And also you might want to keep the Argriope armor as the default armor to avoid dying.
- Centipede -
You've met the larva, so now you get to see the adult centipede. The Centipede has 45,662 HP and deals 15,000~16,000 raw damage. His Poison Element Attack is more than enough to kill you outright without the Argriope armor.
To counter this, you need to wear Bigfoot shield and the Argriope armor at all times. There's nothing much you can do about his normal attack, so just keep assumptio on to reduce the damage to half.
His rare drops are, Cursed Lyre, Cold Heart, and Black Cat. The Cold Heart and Black Cat are accessories that are quite expensive, I'm not sure about the Cursed Lyre, I haven't seen one yet.
- Tatacho -
It's Tatacho! The furry monster with a party hat on his head. He has 39,000 HP and deals 10,000~11,000 raw damage per hit. He can use Stun Attack and Hammer Fall to stun you, and Ganbantein to remove Safety Wall or any protective ground spell.
Wearing an Orc Warrior shield will reduce his damage by 30% but other than that, only Assumptio can help you reduce his damage.
His rare drops are the Lunakaligo and the Cello, both quite usefull, but not really expensive. But they are valuable.
Ofcourse, Manuk also has an Boss Monster on it's fields. . .
Unlike the Tendrillion, the Hard Rock Mammoth has mobs in the form of three Tatacho, he can also use the skill Earthquake that can kill a whole party without the proper resistance gear.
Though I haven't encountered the Hard Rock Mammoth yet, nor do I have the plans to, I suggest going after it with a party. Doing it solo is nearly impossible because of his insane attack power and his skills.
If you do manage to kill him, you have the chance to get the following:
The Ivory Lance, Ivory Knife, Tournament Shield, and the Bone Head, a head gear. All of these are quite expensive and there are only a few people that I know who have killed/farmed this guy. So it is possible to kill it!
Good luck on your New World expedition and may you bring home a cart-full of loots!
Bye for now :D
