iRO action. Never ending grinding...

Sorry about this but I'm still having trouble playing pRO because of my ISP, so I don't think I can do awesome stuff on pRO yet because of the LAAAAG!(I hope it gets fixed today) But I felt the need to post something so that I won't lose my loyal and persevering readers(lol).

So I'll show you some stuff that I've been doing on iRO Valkyrie (International Ragnarok Online).

I started out here with only the basics (Limited Novice Pots, flies and Butterfly Wings etc...) Thanks to my instincts as a pre-Comodo player, I've managed to adapt.

I actually gotten (semi) good gear. Though all of them are NPC items, they're doing fine so far. Its a bit hard to start from scratch, but I'm doing fine. @_@ It kinda reminds me of the good old days of pRO...

This is my Swordsman on iRO valk, named after my Champion, Kenji Watanabe. He's so far my main character in the server. He's at level 46 right now and I plan to turn him into a Knight. I'm investing on his Equipment so he can be a good tank at the same time a good killer.

Since no one man is an army, I created an Acolyte to fight side by side with my Swordy. This guy isn't gonna be a Priest though, he's gonna be my Monk. Currently at level 45, I'm currently leveling these two at the Dokebi Map.

There's a quest system here that got me interested in. The Monster Hunting Repeatable Quests. Unlike pRO daily quests, that gives you exp by talking to NPCs and doing errands for them and asks you to wait for 20 hours. This one actually helps with leveling up.

As the screen shot above says, you have to kill a certain number of monsters and then go back to the NPC. The NPC will then give you EXP equivalent to the number of monsters you've killed.

(Ex. 1 Peco Peco gives 160 base exp and 80 job exp, if you to kill 50 Peco Peco you will receive 8000 base exp and 4000 job exp. After killing the 50 Peco Peco, return to the NPC and it will give you the same amount of EXP, effectively giving you 2x the EXP.)

So you'll actually see real people on the monster maps. Though there are a lot of bots (it's a free server afterall), there are other people there that you can team up with. Brings back memories again ~ (Nostalgia fills the air)

Anyway, aside from the awesome EXP quests. I've noticed a M A J O R difference in the market of pRO and iRO. Well of course there will always be big differences between servers but seriously...

I may over reacting a (lot)little. Compared to the prices on pRO, these are a steal. @_@

The prices are bit... err... weird. Cardo [1], which is the strongest two hand spear for Spiral Pierce and it's only 25m? Meanwhile a +7 Orcish Bow, which is an ordinary bow costs 75m 0_o.

But since its hard to earn zeny here, I think the prices are fair(except for orcish bow).

Before this posts turns into a rant post, lemme end it with something from last month's screenies. . .
