RO Post: Random MVPing, 2x EXP MOD & Renewal Sakray :D [part 1]

So I'm back with something related to RO now. I was going through the screenshots of our other computer, I saw some of my old hunts (months old) and I think I haven't posted anything about it yet.

Though I don't know how the quote above has anything to do with RO, it's just nice to know where Gravity gets their monsters. Boitata is the MVP of the relatively new town of Brasilis (Brazil Themed Map).

When the patch was released, I quickly searched for the guide on how to get to the dungeon. But because of my laziness scarcity of sources, I got delayed by a few weeks. But once I did get the guide, I came down there with the gang.

Finding him was quite hard the first time, since the map is H U G E !. But the search is only half of the battle. At first he seems like an ordinary MVP, hits a bit hard yet manageable, has a mob that adds more damage, and has high HP.

But once he uses Twohand Quicken, however, things get interesting really fast. The thing about monsters/MVPs that use Twohand Quicken is that their ASPD goes from normal, to OMGWTHLOLROFLBBQ in just seconds.

And as you can see from the screenies above, he also has the ability to use the dreaded Power Up at 20% HP. Imagine having only 13,000 HP, and this MVP has near 190 aspd and it hits you for 1.5~2k. 0_o. And him having Sonic Blow doesn't make things better.

 

But with the proper countermeasures, one learns to adapt and win... And win did I do! (Got a Hunting Spear[1] from him :D)

And this is were the good times end. As you can see, with only a 5 man team we reached the 80th floor. This floor is filled with a heck load of Necromancers, though they could have been easilly dispatched, Hibram decided to go down the stairs first.

After spending boxes of Tokens, Assumptio Scrolls, and White Slims, we eventually got everybody to their position. And exactly 5:30 am...

Success !!

We didn't get anything of extreme value from the Endless Tower, but just the thought of a 5 man team beating 80 levels of Endless Tower (total floors 101), I think it was a great run.

We would've continued, but supplies were running low and the fact that it was 5:30 in the morning, we just took a final screenshot(fail), parted ways, and went to bed with smiles on our faces.

A big thanks to my party members, whom without them I couldn't have spent so much zeny in one day(just kidding!@_@). High Wizard = Yam, Biochemist = Zell, Soul Linker = Nayumi, and High Priest = JK.
