RO post: Mini Valks :S

Now that the exp mod week has ended, there's really not much to do in pRO. Maybe you can level up a little or make a few million zeny, that's pretty much it. I still go online, but I don't do much except window shop and talk with some friends. I occassionally level up when I feel like it, but that doesn't happens often.

Because of boredom, I've been reading some journals at RO story, it's a blog site made specially for ragna players. Why did I make my blog here in blogspot instead of putting it on RO story, well I'm not pretty sure.

Anyway, I've been reading some of their entries about hunting mini Valkyries for Valkyrian shields. Since I was bored and I have nothing much to do except stare at the monitor for hours, maybe I should try it. Who knows, it might actually make a good post for January.

Since there isn't a direct warp to Hugel, I only thought of one way to get there without taking the sadistically slow airship.

I ran into the mutant dragonoid on my way there, too bad he didn't drop Dragon's Breath.

When I arrived at the town of Hugel, the place was crawling with Morroc's spawn. Those darn ghost incarnations really suck.

They were a lot stronger than the ordinary ghost incarnations that I kill (the one that drops Diabolus Ring). And someone said that they had 120m HP. I'm not sure so I might check out some sites about them.

I didn't want to waste time because I had gum on (item that increases drop rate by 200%), so I had to tank one of those ghosts while talking to the npc.

I went around the map for only a few minutes until I spotted the first Valkyrie. I tanked her as soon as possible just incase of competition (paranoid). After a good 20~30 Acid Bombs the valkyrie soon fell, leaving a Valhala's Flower behind.

Here I am taking down the second mini Valkyrie on the map. . . but wait !

So as soon as I got the shield, I teleported to a much less dangerous part of the shrine to identify it.

It's actually my very first time to get a Valkyrian item as a monster drop. It really looks awesome, but it's really not worth much in the server. Since some people really abused the Bossnia dungeon, the Valkyrian items are really cheap as of the moment.

So to increase the value. . .

And there we have it, a +7 Valkryja's Shield. Fresh from Holgrehenn's accursed forge!

I actually saw Valkyrie Randgris roaming the map, I can't take her down without a proper party so I had to leave her alone (it broke my heart @_@).
