RO post: Holiday Bossnia Week recap

Like what I said in my previous post, the Bossnia dungeon just came back because of the holiday season. It's just plain wrong to pass out on such a glorious event, so as soon as the servers came up, I didn't waste time and patched the update and headed straight to Bossnia. (I prepared the night before, so that I can hunt as soon as I log in @_@)

I was hunting solo on the first days of the Bossnia week. The loots were awesome, I managed to get a Ulle's Cap, Pole Axe, Grand Circlet, Corsair, and whole cart full of stuff to sell.

Well ofcourse, no hunt is complete without dying. That dungeon is a death trap, but the rewards are totally awesome. So here's my share of deaths/failures.

I haven't had much time to take so many screenshots of me dying. Who would want to take a picture of themselves losing? @_@ hahaha

And like the pictures above, I also did a few crazy things while hunting there. As you may know, some MVPs aren't possible to kill solo. 

Those are the MVPs that require a well geared party. Just for kicks, I decided to try tanking Valkyrie Randgris (Made possible by an Angelring Armor). Hans, an in-game friend was there to see my crazy stunt.

And Valkyrie Randgris wasn't the only one who felt the extreme awesomeness of my Biochemist (lol). I also tried tanking Ifrit too.  

Ate Yam was with us at the time which made the crazy stunt easier. Because it really wasn't possible to defeat ifrit with just the three of us, we died a few seconds after the screenshot was taken (PC lagged while taking screenie 0_o).


Moving on, I did manage to get my final job level at bossnia. I think I had 84% when I started to hunt at Bossnia. It was really unexpected 0_o

With only .2% to go, I was really excited. Since the new 3rd jobs are just around the corner, getting to job 70 is one of my goals. I want to be one of the first Genetics in pRO, well I wish. Genetic Job Class

At the last days of the Bossnia week, me and ate Yam tried her new staff, the Wizardry Staff. It's a two hand staff that gives +6 int +2 dex and 15% matk. It's downside is that it is a two hand staff meaning you can't wear a shield. But I was there using my Paladin to take the blows.

At first she was very skeptical about the idea of her being an MVP killer, but look at her now, just like a pro.

Well I did also say that in every hunt, there's a high chance of dying, right? (Wipe Out @_@)

I got the chance to kill RSX, the mechanical monster (actually I killed him a lot). Competition was all around, they were trying to steal the kill but I became the MVP because I threw a few bombs ahead of them. Then it dropped a dagger. . .


Everyone was trying to grab the dagger, I couldn't move because I had the Dark Snake Lord on my back. I was trying to grab it but I couldn't reach it. But then I remembered I brought the Lesser Elemental Ring a.k.a the Jumping Ring. I landed on the spot of the dagger and picked it up. (Most of the time this ring has brought me nothing but grief but this time isn't on of those times. @_@)


I was really excited and sweaty (mostly sweaty) when I saw the dagger. Only one thing popped in my head... Ice Pick. I didn't care if was an unslotted House Auger or a slotted Ice Pick, both of them were really expensive. The former at 350m and the latter at a billion.


But then I identified it. . . 

Well that's a heart breaker, folks. But I bet the other guys that saw the dagger fall from RSX believed it was an Ice Pick. lol. Those jerks, trying to steal a kill from me. I don't think so... hahahah!


Anyway that's what pretty much happened at Bossnia. It was costly (About 1k roks per day and I spent a little bit over 200m.), but it was worth it. We had a good time, we got some gear to sell. It was good. I just hope another Bossnia event comes soon, I'm starting to get bored again. @_@

Before I end, I'll just like to show the loots that we got from the Bossnia raids. They may not be MVP cards, but they're worth quite the amount of zeny.
